The Graduate School has announced the 2025 winners of its professional and student awards. The awards recognize excellence in graduate academics, teaching and professional services.

The Graduate School is pleased to announce it has appointed two new associate deans to join its leadership team. Starting this summer, Dan Knopf, professor in the Department of Mathematics, will serve as associate dean with a focus on funding and policy, and Chris McCarthy, professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, will serve as associate dean with a focus on graduate student affairs.

This prestigious award honors the top 100 graduating architecture and design students in North America, jump-starting their careers as Metropolis actively shares the selections with recruiters across the country. This is the fifth year in a row students in the program have been recognized.

On April 9, 2025, four graduate students took home awards for their research communication at The University of Texas at Austin's Empower Your Pitch competition. The 2025 competition included graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
